well, with "china grove" it had this, youknow, real high energy. the track sounded great. i was pushing from here to make sure i reallyhad the stamina to play it. ♪ deep away in the bluegrass pines ♪ ♪ where the wide, wide river ♪ ♪ of whiskey winds ♪ it's not about black america. it's not about white america. it's about america in transition.
so i wrote them a theme - an americana theme. so it's full form mixing, but visually. and i had no idea. i mean, it wasn't untili was 50 years old, 52 years old when i started taking photos. so i waited a little while. ♪ rooster rag, rooster rag ♪ ♪ ending up doin' that rooster rag ♪ ♪ enging up doin' that ♪ ♪ i said ending up doin' that rooster rag♪ everything i do, i do for you. michael kamenwrote the song.
i think they actually had it an octave lower. and i wanted to bring it up, bring it up anoctave. i thought it would resonate a little better. i not only thought of it in terms of here'sthese kids that are just like, they've got the little capes on, and the little boy iskind of angled like this, like oh my gosh this is so cool. the girl is going like this. but it's also a reflection of american society. we're so-- there is innocence, but there'snaivete as well. we're naive in certain respects.
